"Your image of God is your final barrier to
experiencing God" (Joseph Campbell)

"Your image of yourself
is the final barrier to experiencing the 'self' "
"We
are not here to find ourselves... We are here to create ourselvse."
"Who am I?" The mystics would say that is the
ultimate question. The pursuit of which brings understanding to
life.
"I am_______"
"I am" is the word of God. It is everywhere in the scripture
and most religious teachings. To know your 'I am-ness'... is to know God.
Is it possible that you are God? What would that mean if that
were true? Would it mean that you have the power to create everything in your
life? Are you doing it now with your mental activity, both consciously and
unconsciously?
You clicked on this
page to find out about me.
So
What?
What does it
matter?
I love this picture.
It is from a scene in a movie documentary about the life of Bruce Lee. (I recommend
it... I think it is called "The Way of the Warrior")
You may hate it!
What is important is
that you notice if you hate it or love it and investigate what it is about you
that is conditioned to love it or
hate it.
What you are hearing
is far more important than anything I have to say because what you are hearing
and reacting to is revealing who you are and what you are consenting to as
true... and that is what you will continue to experience in your future unless
you become aware and choose differently.
OK... down to
business.
I am Tim.

Born in 1960 and as
Blake said "Died many times since" |
 | I have imagined a
great partner
of love and life, and now share it together... Che'lisa. |
 |
My children and my
family are my greatest teachers. |
 |
I managed in the
fitness industry for 18 years with some of the most wonderful people in the country
and learned a great deal about physical awareness through diet and exercise |
 | I have studied consciousness
over the years and have received certifications in what my intellect thinks
is "cool stuff" |
 |
I spent 9 days with
Byron Katie to experience the magic and simplicity of "The Work".
(My intellect didn't like this much, but I sure did) |
 | I love how the cold
in Minnesota makes me so love the warmth of the tropics. |
Now that you have
already created a concept of me based on words and a picture, it will be a bit
more challenging for you to meet "me". But don't worry, your concept
of "me" can never change who "I am"

"True
beauty requires no validation. Everything else is just endless intellectual
comparisons of the egoic mind."

The
life of contemplation in action and purity of heart is, then, a life of great
simplicity and inner liberty. One is not seeking anything special or
demanding any particular satisfaction. One is content with what is.
One does what is to be done, and the more concrete it is, the better. One
is not worried about the results of what is done. One is content to have
good motives and not too anxious about making mistakes. In this way one
can swim with the living stream of life and remain at every moment in contact
with God, in the hiddenness and ordinariness of the present moment with its
obvious task.” (Thomas Merton)
