VIBRATIONAL
HEALING
Sound
& Sensation
We
work with several forms of the rapidly growing field of Vibrational
Medicine, or Sound and Energy Therapy, in our groups and private sessions.
This field includes many kinds of music therapy and many energy and bodywork techniques.
Links at the top of this page present detailed information about
the specific techniques and practices we have studied and now offer.
American prophet Edgar
Cayce said many decades ago that "sound
will be the medicine of the future". That future is clearly now, as more
and more vibrational healing therapies are developed, or re-discovered, and
adapted to the needs of our modern world. Today,
Che'lisa utilizes a wide selection of
healing music in her sessions, often directly transmitted to the client
through her state-of-the art sound therapy table developed by chiropractor and leading sound researcher Dr. Jeffrey Thompson.
Che'lisa
intuitively
plays a full set of beautiful Crystal
Singing Bowls (see picture and article here)
to transport the client to a very relaxed state of consciousness
and peace.
Vibrational
Healing
commonly expands
and activates one’s chakras,
or energy centers, bringing about the
release of energy blockages which keep us from being our real and vital selves.
Vibrational healers, sound therapists, musicians,
and researchers are really just beginning to explore the powerful effects
which healthy vibrations and tones can have on the human physical, emotional,
mental, and spiritual bodies. Yet, there is already considerable evidence that
healthy sound and vibration can be a valuable asset in anyone’s program of
healing and opening to higher states of consciousness.
During vibrational
work, it’s common for one’s chi,
the vital energy which flows through and around all of us, to be activated and
increased. Old stagnant energy is freed up and released, making room for
new chi to flow
into your body and energy field. Similar to the positive physiological effects
of tai chi, yoga and meditation, vibrational healing generates a healthy
internal environment for deep healing and relaxation.
It’s well documented today how loud and harmful sounds can negatively affect
our bodies and emotional states. Many vibrational healers are now seeking ways
to correct these imbalances with the beauty and power of healthy sound. Among
their primary tools are specially produced music, vocal toning, nature sounds,
sounds produced by new technology, and even cosmic sounds sent back from other
planets by our space probes. We seem to have a healthy appetite for the
exploration of sound. Perhaps, this is because it’s been said that sound is
actually the creator of our universe, the very thing which keeps everything
flowing and in order.
